Tender, crispy and perfectly seasoned, Porte D’Mer Salt & Pepper Squid deserves a dipping sauce just as bold. Enter: sweet chilli mayo — a creamy, tangy pairing that elevates this pub-style favourite into something special at home.

You’ll need:

  • Porte D’Mer Salt & Pepper Squid (pre-fried, cook from frozen)
  • Whole egg mayonnaise
  • Sweet chilli sauce
  • Fresh lemon wedges
  • Optional: coriander leaves or spring onion for garnish

Steps:

  1. Cook the squid until golden and crisp (oven, deep fryer or air fryer).
  2. Mix 2 parts mayo to 1 part sweet chilli sauce for your dip.
  3. Serve squid hot with dipping sauce on the side, garnished with lemon wedges and herbs.
