Sara Doran brings 30 years of experience in the seafood industry to her role as Operations & Compliance Coordinator at Porte D’Mer. Starting out in her family business at the Footscray Fish Market, she was involved in unloading containers and making deliveries before transitioning into administrative tasks, processing orders, and assisting customers—roles she found both fulfilling and rewarding. Over the years, Sara has moved into compliance, managing stock testing, labelling, and ensuring the business stays up to date with compliance for audits. While she enjoys the technical aspects of compliance, Sara is excited to return to her roots of customer interaction and is thrilled to join the Porte D’Mer team to work directly with customers and contribute to the brand’s success.
